EDUCATION :
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization related to the position.
The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE :
Experience conducting research, analysis and environmental scans on complex health related policy issues.
Experience in developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience developing briefing materials or other policy documents on health related issues (sample may be requested to assess ability to communicate effectively in writing).
Significant* experience analyzing complex** health related policy issues, developing recommendations and providing policy advice to senior executive management.
*Significant relates to at least 3 years of experience.
**Complex - relates to multi-dimensional or many interconnected parts; difficult to understand and/or manage.
EDUCATION :
Registration as a regulated health profession with a professional college or licensing/registration body (example, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy).
EXPERIENCE :
Experience developing briefing materials or other policy documents such as Memoranda to Cabinet, Treasury Board Submissions involving participation from central agencies and/or other federal organizations (sample may be requested to assess ability to communicate effectively in writing).
Experience working as a regulated health professional in a health and/or correctional environment.
Significant*** experience developing, delivering and implementing training.
