Natural Resources Canada seeks a dynamic, creative, and resourceful team player to join the Canadian Wood Fibre to coordinate technology transfer including the management of collaborative agreements. The Canadian Wood Fibre Centre (CWFC) is a science organization dispersed by design comprising researchers and forestry professionals located in Canadian Forest Service (CFS) centres across the country whose mission is to provide sustainable wood fibre solutions to Canada’s forest sector. You will join a collaborative team integrated with the national research programs of both the CFS and FPInnovations, and strongly oriented to the needs forest sector stakeholders.

Intent of the process

**Amendment**
This process will be used to fill one (1) position on an indeterminate basis.
A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at Natural Resources Canada and in the Public Service with various tenures (determinate period or indeterminate), various linguistic profile(s) (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC), various security requirements (Reliability or Secret), various conditions of employment and various work locations.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation with a degree in a related science from a recognized post-secondary institution combined with acceptable experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience in collaborative work with forest sector stakeholders in at least three of the following groups: forest industry; provinces; academia; forest management enterprises; forest-dependent communities; Indigenous groups.
Experience in providing strategic written and verbal advice to an executive decision-making level (senior management) in an organization.
Experience in communicating scientific or technical information to non-scientists.
Experience in managing human and financial resources.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience in the delivery of collaborative agreements or contribution (transfer payment) agreements according to federal or provincial government programs
Experience planning and conducting field or laboratory-based forest research activities
Experience in forest management planning or forest operations
