CICS is an impartial agency whose mandate is to provide administrative support and planning services for Federal-Provincial-Territorial and Provincial-Territorial conferences of First Ministers, Ministers and Deputy Ministers, throughout Canada. We are looking for dynamic, professional and engaged people to provide technical and logistical services in support of senior level intergovernmental meetings held across Canada.
Our candidate must obtain and maintain a secret security clearance, be bilingual (BBB - minimum) and be available to work overtime and travel across Canada on short notice.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience providing logistical and *technical support to conferences or meetings.
*Technical support refers to the installation of conference equipment and the experience to identify, manage and resolve any issues regarding this equipment as well as wireless networking and digital subscriber lines.
Experience in procurement.
Experience providing client services.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

1. Ability to install, test and troubleshoot diverse technical equipment and their connections including (but not limited to) portable computers, printers, monitors, LCD projectors, routers.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate or diploma in audio-visual and/or multi-media technologies or computer sciences.
Experience supporting meetings using web and video conferencing.
Experience planning and serving senior level* conferences and/or meetings that include significant** government participation.
* Senior level is defined as being at the director level and above.
**Significant government participation is defined as being at the level of deputy minister, minister or first minister
Knowledge of the Canadian Intergovernmental Conference Secretariat.
Secret security clearance
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness and ability to travel extensively and on a regular basis across Canada to conference sites, including weekends.
Willingness and ability to work irregular hours and frequent overtime in make-shift offices while on conference sites.
