The intent of this process is to staff an indeterminate position.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions within Library and Archives Canada with various tenures and/or various linguistic requirements and profiles according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
*The acceptable combination is defined as having completed at least 3 years of secondary school and at least one of the following : relevant training to the position (heavy equipment, moves, installation, etc) OR 2 years of relevant work experience (i.e. items listed under Essential Experience and/or asset criteria of the Statement of Merit Criteria, or any other related experience).
EXPERIENCE
*Significant experience in implementing office moves AND work station reconfiguration.
Recent experience** in ergonomic adjustment of work stations.
Experience with the delivery of accommodations services targeted to the end user.
*Significant experience is defined as having the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of various related activities that would have been acquired over a period of minimum three (3) consecutive months.
**Recent experience is understood to mean experience generally acquired in the last five (5) years.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
Experience in installing various panel system furniture such as TEKNION, CorCan, HAWORTH, Global and/or StealCase
ASSET KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of Public Services and Procurement of Canada’s (PSPC) GcWorkplace
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Information on language requirements
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of the steps for workstation installation and reconfiguration
ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively orally

Ability to lift and transport heavy items up to 30 kg (50 lbs)
