Are you looking for a new and rewarding challenge? The Civilian Compensation Operations Team at National Defence is looking to hire talented, action-oriented individuals who can bring innovative ideas to the workplace.

DND is a department like no other. DND and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) are together the largest federal government department, and the only department where military members work alongside civilians. Compensation Operations is part of a national Human Resources team providing services to civilian and military clients across Canada.

Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to staff five (5) AS-04 positions within the Department of National Defence (DND).

National Capital Region:
• Four (4) positions
• Bilingual imperative, CBC/CBC

Esquimalt, British Columbia:
• One (1) position
• English Essential

A pool of candidates may be created to staff future positions in the Department of National Defence.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of secondary school or a combination of education, training or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
EX1: Recent* experience in leading a team, including leave management, performance management and workload management.
EX2: Experience working under pressure with multiple priorities and conflicting demands.
EX3: Experience in providing mentoring and coaching to junior staff.
EX4: Experience producing and analyzing statistical reports.

*Recent is defined as experience gained within the last three (3) years.
