The Graphic Designer researches, plans, designs, develops, and executes innovative concepts for print and online products in both official languages to support the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC).
FCAC is a separate employer under the Financial Administration Act (FAA) with its own classification (RE and REX) and compensation system. The group and level identified above (IS-03) is used as an indicator only. We offers the same pension and benefits plans as the core federal public service. In addition, you will benefit from a minimum of four (4) weeks of vacation leave per year, earn a competitive salary, and be eligible for annual performance pay. We are located in downtown Ottawa.

Recent experience in providing advice to clients on design projects.
Recent experience in the planning and managing design projects, from initial concept to delivery.
Experience in providing advice and guidance on visual identity and branding.
Experience with graphic design concepts and techniques for publishing printed material and for digital and social media.
Significant and recent experience with graphic design and publishing software, including all Adobe Creative Suite software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Live Cycle, etc.).
