This is an anticipatory process that will be used to staff the following positions:

AS-02 Quality Assurance Officer (Stream 2)

Although the immediate intent of this Job Opportunity Advertisement is to staff indeterminately, applicants should be aware that a pool of qualified candidates (fully assessed or partially assessed) may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements listed in the Language Requirements section. Education:
Stream 1: Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).
Note 1: The employer-approved alternatives to two years of secondary school are: A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to two years of secondary school; or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Stream 2: A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
Experience:
For both streams:
E1 Experience in data entry AND retrieval.
E2 Experience in processing correspondence.
E3 Experience in general office duties.
E4 Experience in using word processing software, databases AND spreadsheets.
In addition to the above, the following is for stream 2 only:
E5 Experience in contributing to the development of quality-related procedures.
E6 Experience corresponding with and providing feedback to internal and/or external stakeholders.
Experience:
For both streams:
AE1 Experience working with documents containing medical terminology. (ie: as part of education or work experience)
For Stream 2
AE2 Experience in quality management activities
Various language requirements

For both streams:
A1 Ability to plan, organize AND establish own work priorities.
A2 Ability to work with various processing software, databases AND spreadsheets. (ie Microsoft Package: Word & Excel)
