Consider joining the Atlantic Regional Office of Indigenous Services Canada in Amherst, Nova Scotia as we work with our partners to help meet the Government of Canada's obligations and commitments to First Nations, Inuit and Métis.

We are seeking a positive, innovative individual who sees the benefits of a strengthened relationship and wishes to support Indigenous communities in realizing their visions. As this position will be staffed to work out of our Atlantic Regional Office, candidates are encouraged to apply only if they are willing and able to work out of the Atlantic Regional Office in Amherst Nova Scotia.

Intent of the process

A pool of candidates may be established to staff similar or identical position at Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) with various tenure, linguistic profiles or security requirements, which may vary.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Successful two years post secondary in a relevant discipline.

OR

An acceptable combination* of education, training and relevant work experience.

*Acceptable combination is defined as a minimum of a high school diploma and experience and/or training in a field relevant to the position (i.e. items listed under Essential Experience and/or asset criteria of the Statement of Merit Criteria, or any other related experience).

Degree equivalency

Experience in managing paper or electronic records throughout the information life cycle.

Experience in the use of an Electronic Document and Records Management System.

Experience participating as a member of a project team or working group.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience in supervising staff.
Experience in coordinating and providing training or information sessions to staff.
