We’re renovating!
In the coming months, parts of Portage III complex will be temporarily vacated for extensive renovations. A number of employees will be moved to temporary office space locations in downtown Ottawa. As each phase of the project nears completion, employees will be moved back to the newly renovated Portage III complex.
The renewal of the Portage III complex is slated to create a world-class headquarters for PSPC. The modernized campus will feature the latest in greening solutions and will integrate a broad spectrum of design elements intended to improve employee wellness, and reflect a more modern way of working.
Approximately 20% of the positions in the Finance and Administration Branch will be temporarily located at L'Esplanade Laurier.

The Finance and Administration Branch provides financial, corporate accommodation, material management and procurement services on a regional and national basis for Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). As the engine that powers the Government of Canada, PSPC supports the daily operations of nearly 106 federal departments and agencies.
We provide innovative common services to government and help departments focus on what they do best, serving Canadians.
An inventory for casual opportunities will be established from this process, which may be used to staff short-term opportunities within the Department in the National Capital Region.
These opportunities may require various language requirements, operational requirements, condition of employment and/or work locations.

A. Yes, an interview will always be conducted. Since this is for casual opportunities and not for an appointment, the interview may be informal in nature and not based on specific merit criteria.

A. Yes, you should be ready to provide references from supervisors, clients and/or subordinates.
Q. Where are your offices located?
A. Our offices are in Ottawa and Gatineau.
