A secondary school diploma (High School) or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Stream 1 - PG-02 (Material Identification Officer) English or Bilingual BBB/BBB
Stream 2 - PG-03 (Material Identification Supervisor) Bilingual BBB /BBB
EXPERIENCE
STREAM 1 AND STREAM 2
Experience working in a material management, warehousing or logistics operations environment.
Experience gathering information from various sources for the purpose of data verification or validation.
Experience using an inventory or material management database.
Experience using Word Processing (e.g. Microsoft Word) and Spreadsheet Software (Microsoft Excel).
STREAM 2 - PG-03 (Material Identification Supervisor)
Experience providing advice, guidance or recommendations to colleagues, clients supervisors or managers on material management, warehousing or logistics.
Experience supervising or directing the daily activities of a team or in leading/managing projects.
EDUCATION
Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field related to the duties of the positon (e.g. material management, logistics, supply chain management).
EXPERIENCE
Experience preparing reports and other documentation in support of Materiel Management.
Experience using an integrated financial and stock/inventory control system.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of assets and equipment used in Naval or Marine environments.
