Duties

1. Understand the patterns of ballistic traces to incorporate the modifications into the small arms simulators and the indirect fire system.
2. Use and maintain specialized software that are used to reserve and operate simulators for all users of the simulation center.
3. Prepare, write and distribute instructions on the use of simulators.
4. Coordinate and approve the reservation and harmonization process for all simulator users within the 2nd Canadian Division.
5. Participate in weekly conferences to synchronize simulator bookings.
6. Provide CAF staff with theoretical and practical instruction on the proper use of specialized software to operate the simulation center's computer systems.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note).

Note:
1. The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
o A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
o An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manager position;
Experience teaching military small arms;
Experience as a supervisor in the execution of a live range;
Experience in developing different training modules;
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a small arms trainer operator, an Indirect fire trainer (IFT) operator, and an Interim FOO/FAC simulator (IFFS) operator;
Experience in the support and technical advice on weapon simulators;
Experience in developing and maintaining schedules, reservations and training plans;
