The Personnel Administration (PE) Development Program is designed to facilitate the development of talented individuals who have the potential to excel as HR professionals. The program is an integrated, competency-based career development framework, designed to hire participants at the entry level and, after fulfilling training and development requirements, appoint them to the HR Advisor working level of PE-03. Program duration will vary for each participant depending on the individual’s state of professional development, their performance, and the learning and development required for their respective discipline.

After the completion of the practicum period, accreditation proposals are submitted to Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat who will review and, once satisfied that requirements have been met, will issue the classification accreditation.
