A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established from this process to staff identical or similar positions within Statistics Canada across Canada. These positions may be staffed with various tenures (indeterminate, determinate, acting, assignment, deployment, secondment etc.), with various language requirements and various security requirements.

Note: Candidates who have achieved a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test (The General Intelligence Test - GIT 320) approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma, are deemed to meet this criterion.

Experience:
CR-04:
-EXP1 A-Experience performing tasks related to administrative services (general administration, human resources, finance, data access or client services).
AND/OR
-EXP1 B-Experience performing tasks related to survey operations.
CR-05:
-EXP2 A-Significant* experience performing tasks related to administrative services (general administration, human resources, finance, data access or client services).
OR
-EXP2 B-Significant* experience performing tasks related to survey operations.
*Significant means experience acquired in approximately 2 years and will also be evaluated as to the responsibilities and the complexity of the functions.
Abilities:
A2 -Ability to communicate effectively orally.

Asset – Education:
AEDU1: – At least 2 years of a postsecondary diploma or a degree in Administration or Human Resources Management
AEDU2: – At least 2 years of a postsecondary diploma or a degree in Social Science
AEDU3: – At least 2 years of a postsecondary diploma or a degree in a Business or Finance Field
Asset – Experience:
AEXP1 – Experience with the Census or another Statistics Canada survey
AEXP2 – Experience with client services in relation to survey respondents or with clients
AEXP3 – Experience working with Microsoft Excel developing spreadsheets using formulas
AEXP4 – Experience in data capture or processing in a high-production environment
AEXP5 – Experience in coding related to surveys using a classification system
AEXP6 – Experience in questionnaire development and production
AEXP7 – Experience in a distribution centre or mailroom environment.
AEXP8 – Experience in a printing environment operating high production printer and ability to program job tickets.
AEXP9 – Experience in performing tasks related to human resources
AEXP10 – Experience in performing tasks related to finance
AEXP11 – Experience in providing administrative support to a senior manager
AEXP12 – Experience performing tasks related to technical Administrative support services (Big data, Admin Data, SAS, Database Software).

1. Screening questionnaire: A summary of past experience, including the situation, action and result must be included in your responses to the screening questionnaire.
2. Reference checks and/or performance assessments: The names of two (2) supervisors and one (1) client and/or performance management agreements from the past two (2) fiscal years may be requested.
You must present your proof of education and proof of Canadian citizenship during the process.
All information obtained throughout the selection process, from the time of application to the close of the process, will be used to evaluate the candidates.
Some positions could be bilingual.
