Information on employment equity
1) The client organization will accept applications on-line only.
2) Candidates must clearly demonstrate IN THEIR COVER LETTER, with concrete and detailed examples, how they meet each of the screening criteria (i.e. Education and Experience Qualifications, both Essential and Assets). Please note that it is not sufficient to only state that the requirement is met or to provide a listing of current responsibilities, rather the candidate must provide concrete examples that illustrate how they meet the requirement. One suitable approach is to use each screening criteria as a heading, and provide a description outlining how that criteria is met. Failure to provide an appropriate cover letter could result in the application being rejected from the process. Candidates will not be solicited for incomplete or possible missing information.
3) A written examination may be administered.
4) An interview may be administered.
5) Reference checks may be sought.
6) You must provide proof of your education credentials.
7) Candidates must meet the essential qualifications to be appointed to a position.
8) Candidates may be required to meet the asset qualifications or the organizational needs, depending on the requirements of the specific position being staffed.
9) Acknowledgment of receipt of applications will not be sent; we will contact candidates when the screening process is completed.
10) Please identify clearly your substantive group and level and your employment status on your resume and/or application form.
11) An assignment/secondment or an acting appointment is a temporary resourcing option. The approval of your substantive supervisor may/will be required before an offer can be made.

13) Persons are entitled to participate in the appointment process in the official language of their choice. Applicants are asked to indicate their preferred official language in their application
