Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is the engine that powers the Government of Canada. We support the daily operations of roughly 106 federal departments and agencies. By focusing on what we do best - providing innovative common services to the government - we help departments focus on what they do best: serving Canadians.
This is an anticipatory process that will be used to staff a range of clerical positions within PSPC Pacific Region. These staffing actions could be permanent or temporary (such as a specified period appointments, indeterminate or casual) with various security requirements and various linguistic profiles (Bilingual imperative BBB/BBB). Should the selected candidate already be a public servant, the pool could also be used for acting appointments.

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience in providing administrative support within an office environment.
Experience in maintaining electronic or manual documentation filing systems.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
Experience in providing reception and information services to the public.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Second language evaluations will be completed during the selection process. The minimal requirement for bilingual positions is BBB/BBB for both English and French. Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a degree or diploma in Business Administration or some other specialization relevant to the position.
Significant experience in providing administrative support within an office environment.
Significant experience in classifying documents using a central records system.
Significant experience in using Microsoft Outlook.
Significant experience in the use of electronic document management systems and GCDOCS.
**Significant will be evaluated in regard to the amount, 1 full year within the last three years.
