The intent of this process is to create a pool of candidates to fill similar or identical positions with various language and security profiles and durations (Term and Indeterminate).

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
- Graduation with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, or an acceptable* combination of education, training, and experience relevant to the position.

*Acceptable combination of education, training and experience is defined as a secondary school diploma combined with depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of duties on a regular basis for a period of approximately three (3) years** in one of the fields of experience listed below in the Essential Experience Qualifications.

**A shorter duration may be considered based on demonstrated complexity and diversity of work handled, scope of work, and/or level of direct responsibility for a wide variety of complex files and/or projects.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
- Experience in managing multiple priorities in a high pressure environment with competing demands.

- Experience in conducting research, analysis and making recommendations to senior management (Director level and above) relating to programs, projects or services.

- Experience in leading a team, project team or working group.

- Experience in leading consultations, facilitating discussions and building consensus.

- Experience in writing briefing materials and providing strategic advice for senior management (Director level and above).

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- Graduation from a recognized university with a Bachelor’s degree.

- Successful completion of courses or formal training in Project Management.

- Successful completion of courses or formal training in business analysis or software design or development.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
- Experience as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, or working in conjunction with the Canadian Armed Forces or National Defense.

- Experience working with an Agile development methodology.

- Experience in using a systems development life cycle methodology.

- Experience in statistical or data analysis.

- Experience in conducting research, analysis and making recommendations on Service Design.

- Experience in Program Management.

- Experience in evaluating or measuring the performance of public sector programs or services.

-Experience in managing and resolving client issues.

- Experience in managing or administering contracts.

- Experience in development and delivery of training.

- Experience in utilizing facilitation skills.

- Experience in project management; Includes any professional designation held, such as, PMP and any methodologies used, such as, Agile, Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

- Experience in budget development and analysis.

- Experience in managing resources (financial, human, and material).

- Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, project teams or working groups.

- Experience working for a minimum of one full year in the office of a Director General, Assistant Deputy Minister, or higher level of management.

- Significant* experience in supervision.

*Significant is defined by the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with approximately two years.
