The intent of this process is to staff one ENG-04 position for a determinate period of 2 years, with a possibility of extension.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar EN-ENG-04 positions within Natural Resources Canada with various tenures (determinate period or permanent), various language requirements (English Essential, French Essential, English or French Essential, or Bilingual), and profile(s) (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC, etc.), various security requirements (Reliability status or Secret clearance), various conditions of employment and for various locations.

Your résumé.
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in mechanical engineering, automated manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering or building engineering, or in another field of engineering related to the position.
Experience managing engineering projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
Experience managing technical and scientific staff
Experience organizing activities related to health and safety in a scientific environment
Experience designing and building test benches in the energy field
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge of federal, provincial, and local codes related to the construction and use of test benches
Knowledge of the Labour Code and requirements related to health and safety
Knowledge of the Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) analysis process
Ability to understand and solve technical issues and to summarize complex information
