Intent of the process

There is an immediate need to staff one (1) permanent PG 04 position in Toronto, Ontario.

A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions, with varying tenures in various locations.

Education:
Successful completion of a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Acceptable combination is defined as QL6B Construction Engineering (CE) Superintendent Course, procurement contracting course(s) and/or recent experience with the supervision of procurement of goods and services in accordance with the Financial Administration Act (FAA).

Degree equivalency

Experience:
For all positions:
EX1- *Recent experience in planning, developing, delivering and managing procurement of goods and services.
EX2- *Recent experience using computers for communication, researching and documenting information using Microsoft Office programs.
EX3- *Recent experience in writing statements of work and contract interpretation.
EX4- *Recent experience managing personnel.
EX5- *Recent experience in conducting analysis on procurement issues.

For PG 05 positions only:
EX6- *Recent experience in financial data entry, data management and data analysis.
EX7- *Recent experience in budgeting and forecasting.

AQ6- Completion of Financial Management Control Frameworks (F111)'

Degree equivalency

Experience:
AQ7- Experience in supervision.
AQ8- *Recent Experience working with Department of National Defence (DND), Public Service and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Public Works Government Services Canada (PWGSC) or Defence Construction Canada.

Operational Requirements:
OR1- Ability and willingness to work overtime during peak periods .
OR2- Ability and willingness to travel.
OR3- Ability to obtain and maintain a Departmental Driver’s License (DND 404).
