Duties

Responsible and accountable for the management of resources, budget, risks, schedule and scope of work for horizontal projects with IT components across CIPO operations. Lead the development of templates and standards as they relate to project management.

We are located at promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec (walking distance to downtown Ottawa). The building is located in downtown Gatineau, with restaurants and boutiques close by. Education
EDU1: A secondary school diploma.

Degree equivalency

Experience
EX1: Extensive* experience as a Project Manager;
EX2: Experience in managing teams** of project managers;
EX3: Significant*** experience in providing strategic advice and recommendations to management****;
EX4: Experience in managing projects throughout their life cycle (planning, organization, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of activities);
EX5: Recent***** experience leading projects / portfolios worth more than $2 million (for a minimum of 1 year) in a matrix environment.

* Extensive is defined as 5 years of experience.
** Team is defined as a minimum of 5 individuals.
***Significant is defined as approximately 2 years.
**** Senior management is defined as Director and above.
***** Recent is defined as having been acquired within the last 5 years.
