Education:
A diploma or certificate from a law-related program (e.g. legal assistant, law clerk, paralegal assistant program or an equivalent program) from a recognized institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
Experience in providing legal assistant support to a legal practitioner
Knowledge:
Knowledge of legal terminology and legal documents.
Knowledge of Canadian Court rules as they apply to legal proceedings and procedures
