IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING THE EVALUATION
Supervised exams of the Public Service Commission will be administered to successful candidates following the evaluation of their resume. Please note that these supervised exams can only be administered in the following cities: Gatineau, Montreal, Toronto, Halifax and Vancouver. If you are invited, you will have to be able to present yourself to these evaluation at one of the places mentioned, otherwise your application will no longer be considered. Please note that applicants will not be reimbursed by the Department for travel expenses related to the evaluation process; however, the Department is committed to minimizing the costs to candidates who will participate in the assessment process.
The PSPC ATIP Office is seeking to recruit confident, highly motivated individuals with good analytical skills to join their team in the role of Junior ATIP Officer. The successful candidates will be trained for processing requests for information in accordance with the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act in order to eventually develop the expertise to advise and guide PSPC employees in their handling of requests for information.
Looking towards the future, there are also opportunities for promotion within the PSPC ATIP Directorate. After a probation period of 4 months, an employee may qualify for integration into our ATIP Developmental Program. This program allows participants to receive training and be assessed against the competencies required for each of the PM position (PM-02 to PM-04) until they reach the expected working level of a Senior ATIP Officer (PM-04).

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
Notes: The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
- A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
- An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
EX1 - Experience in conducting research activities, defined as: researching, identifying sources and retrieving information from a variety of diverse stakeholders, and compiling the information into a concise, logical and usable form.
EX2 - Experience in using a tracking system to select, validate and input data as well as to retrieve information and ensure quality control.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Linguistic requirements are an essential qualification. Your second language proficiency will also be assessed during the selection process. Note that you will have to meet the required profile (BBB / BBB) in order to continue the assessment steps and be placed in a pool of qualified candidates.
