Education
Successful completion of secondary school or a combination of education, training and/or experience

Note: Combination of education, training and/or experience is defined as two years secondary school plus five years working in a warehouse environment.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

Experience
Experience in the procurement of goods

Experience working in the Department of National Defence

Experience in the Canadian Forces Supply System

Experience in Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) OR System Applications Products (SAP)

Experience in material management

Experience in the protection of controlled goods

Experience in handling and storage of dangerous goods (Hazmat)

Experience working with a workplace safety program

Experience in using electric or fuel powered forklifts OR stock picker equipment

ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS

Willingness to operate motorized Mobile Material handling equipment

Willingness to work overtime if required

Other conditions of employment:

Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver’s license

Must be able to obtain and maintain DND 404.

Must be able to maintain DWAN security access

Must be able to lift and carry materials (weighting up to 20 kgs) in accordance with safety practices

Must be able to work shiftwork, nights and weekends as required

Willingness to be rotated to any Stores position of equivalent level within the same unit
