EDUCATION:

Successful completion of a two (2) year of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed; or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

ALL STREAMS:
Recent** and significant* experience in delivering Information Management projects or Information Technology projects.

Significant* experience gathering and synthesizing client requirements in the form of Business Requirements Document or Agile User Stories with associated acceptance criteria.

Significant* experience building and maintaining relationships with clients or external stakeholders.

Experience leading a team or supervising staff of at least two people, including assigning duties to team/staff and managing performance.

STREAM 2:
Significant* experience in designing and conducting workshops or working sessions with clients or stakeholders.

Significant* experience in the delivery of IM/IT solutions in an Agile/SCRUM team environment.

Experience working on business intelligence and analytics projects.

Significant* is defined as experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of related activities for a period of approximately three (3) years.
Recent** is defined as experience that has been obtained within the past five (5) years.

ASSET EDUCATION:

ALL STREAMS:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in Computer Science.

ASSET CERTIFICATION:

ALL STREAMS:
Enterprise Architecture certification (such as TOGAF).

Agile Certification (such as Agile Certified Practitioner or Certified Scrum Mater or Certified Product Owner).

CIMP, CDMP, or related certification in Data Management.

Degree equivalency

ASSET EXPERIENCE:

ALL STREAMS:
Experience running, facilitating or participating in Agile rituals (e.g. sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, sprint reviews, daily scrums) and creating and managing Agile artifacts (e.g. user stories, epics, product roadmap, backlog).

Experience in the review and development of use cases, process maps, or workflow diagrams.

Experience with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) methodologies.

Experience working in following domains: finances, human resources, real property, case management, or ERP software such as SAP, Peoplesoft, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Experience working business intelligence and analytics software (e.g. COGNOS, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

Experience in project management including the development of project management artifacts (e.g. project plans, risk logs, charters etc.).

Experience using and or delivering solutions on IBM InfoSphere suite, Metadata technology, Stewardship Technology, Quality Stage, Information Analyzer or equivalent tools or technologies related to Data Management.

Experience presenting to technical and architecture teams to influence decisions on data or information policies, standards and processes.

Experience applying DMBOK methodology

Experience presenting at governance meetings (i.e. chaired at the Director General level/private sector equivalent or above).
