Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to staff one indeterminate position. A pool of qualified candidates may be created and may be used to staff similar positions within various units and locations with the Department of National Defence.

Education:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university in management, business, or commerce.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience in planning, coordinating, and managing a program or project.

Experience in formulating strategic and operational direction, plans, and reports.

Experience in analyzing the strategies, plans, programs, and processes of an organization.

Experience in conducting research, analyses of trends, and environmental scans.

Experience in providing expert advice and recommendations to senior management on various aspects of the strategic and business planning, monitoring, and reporting cycle.

Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

Experience in managing human and financial resources.

Education:
Graduation with a master’s degree in Business Administration

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience in leading working groups.

Experience in facilitating workshops.

Experience in obtaining, analyzing, and integrating information and data to develop plans, presentations or reports for senior management.

Knowledge:
Knowledge of the theories, principles, or practices related to performance management.

Knowledge of the theories, principles, or practices related to risk management.

Knowledge of the theories, principles, or practices related to business continuity management.
