The Courts Administration Service (CAS) is seeking an Human Resources (HR) Advisor in its Policies and Programs Group to work with a team of enthusiastic, fun loving and driven individuals who thrive on change and new challenges.
Whether you’ve gathered your experience in policy writing, program management or another area related to HR, the area you currently work in is not what matters most. We are looking for an autonomous individual who can see beyond his/her discipline and develop innovative solutions and options to clients.
One portion of the work consists of connecting with managers and employees building awareness of the programs we support through information and training sessions. The other part revolves around research, analysis and policy/guideline development.
You might be our ideal candidate if you enjoy connecting with employees, managers and other stakeholders. Research, analysis and developing written communications products will make up a good portion of the work: we are seeking a skilled communicator who can think strategically and make connections. We need a dreamer and someone with an imagination to find new and interesting ways to reach our workforce. Finally, we need a creative individual: someone who engages others and who is agile in his/her way of thinking and doing.

Your résumé.
At minimum, graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
Significant* experience providing advice, options and formulating recommendations to managers.
Experience writing recommendation or guidance documents such as, policy interpretations, procedures or briefing notes to management or senior management.
Definition:
* Significant experience is defined as the breadth and depth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of complex activities related to this task, which are acquired over a period of three (3) years.

The assessment board reserves the right to contact references other than the ones submitted by the candidates (only within the Public Service), if found necessary, in order to make a suitable assessment of the candidates.
