The Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada (ATSSC) is a group of committed public servants providing support services to 11 administrative tribunals.
We are the lawyers, mediators, registry officers and other specialized and technical staff that support the effective operations of the tribunals, which are important components of Canada’s justice system.

We are looking for dynamic Administrative Coordinators to join our teams in supporting the various tribunals we serve. The Administrative Coordinators are individuals who share our core values of Service Excellence, Team Work, Integrity and Collaboration and Respect.
A fully or partially assessed pool may be created and may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various linguistic requirements, tenures and security clearances within the ATSSC.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of secondary school education according to provincial or territorial standards or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in performing client service duties (such as answering telephone enquiries, taking and relaying messages, reception duties, etc.).
Experience in performing clerical duties (filing, processing mail, data-entry, scanning documents, using a bring-forward (BF) system, preparing correspondence, etc.).
Experience in using word processing and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Various language requirements
Bilingual Imperative - BBB/BBB to CCC/CCC

ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively orally.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
Experience in coordinating and providing administrative services in a quasi judicial or legal environment (for example, tribunal, court, commission, board, law or notaries firm).
Experience providing support services to a manager/director level position or higher including; maintaining an agenda/calendar, coordinating and planning of meetings, preparing briefing material, managing correspondence and emails.
Experience providing administrative support in finance.
Experience scheduling and organizing travel arrangements and processing claims.
Experience providing administrative support in human resources.
Experience related to operational or corporate security.
Experience providing facilities management services.
Experience in maintaining filing systems and providing record support services in a records office or library.
Experience in proof reading texts.
Experience maintaining electronic documentation tracking and filing systems (such as GCDOCS, RDIMS, etc.).
Experience in setting up meeting rooms including audio visual equipment.
Experience in coordinating and scheduling meetings for groups.
