Duties

The successful candidate will participate in field ecological studies of Ancient Murrelet and other seabirds in British Columbia.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
ED1. The student must be currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in biology, geography, ecology, or some other science relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
EX1. Experience deploying data-loggers (including GPS tags) on Ancient Murrelet (or similar sized alcid).
EX2. Experience collecting blood samples from birds.
EX3. Experience conducting wildlife ecological studies in remote BC environments.
