We are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free work environment, starting with the hiring process. If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.
Please note that although the position is located in Ottawa, we are open to the possibility that the selected candidate may be able to work out of one of our regional offices.
Also note that some of the criteria, such as the personal suitability and the ability to communicate effectively in writing, may be assessed throughout the selection process effective from the time you submit your application.
Applicants must answer each screening question through the Public Service Resourcing System (PSRS). For each question where you are asked to provide details, you must give concrete and detailed examples that demonstrate how you meet the essential and asset education and experience requirements. You must also give the full name of the organization where you gained the experience, your title and the period during which you performed the pertinent tasks (MM/YY to MM/YY).
The screening board cannot make assumptions about your experience. It is not enough to simply state that you have the required qualifications, or list your current responsibilities.
The resume may constitute a secondary source to validate the experience factors.
Only online applications will be accepted to be able to take advantage of the many benefits of using the e-Recruitment system.
Individuals who are unable to apply online must contact the resource person identified at the end of this advertisement before the closing date.

An appointment to the position may be based on one or more of the asset qualifications and/or organizational needs, in addition to the essential qualifications.
Decisions regarding final selection may be based on the level, extent or degree of skill achieved in one or more qualifications; for example, we could select candidates who achieved the highest rating for a specific qualification or for a combination of qualifications.
