The intent is to staff one (1) position on an indeterminate basis at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC). EDUCATION:
Successful completion of post-secondary program (College or University) in a field related to facilities management or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in providing strategic advice and in making presentations to senior management*.
Significant** and recent*** experience in Accommodation management at the corporate level, including investment strategies, portfolio and project management both nationally and in the National Capital Region.
Experience in developing business cases.
Experience in managing financial and human resources such as the establishment of business priorities, plans and performance management frameworks.
Experience in developing and implementing standards and guidelines.
Experience in developing and maintaining effective relations with partners and stakeholders.
* Senior management is defined as a Director level (EX-01) and higher.
** Significant experience refers to the breadth and depth of experience normally acquired through direct responsibility to a wide and variety of complex files or projects in the field of work in question.
*** Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the last 5 years.
Asset Qualifications:
Diploma in Interior or Industrial design.
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Knowledge Procurement management.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)
Information on language requirements
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of Financial Administration Act.
Knowledge of Policy on Management of Real Property.
Knowledge of Government of Canada Fit-Up Standards.
Knowledge of project management principles and practices.

Other Conditions of Employment:
Ability to work overtime after regular working hours, weekends and statutory holidays to coordinate/oversee large projects/moves within short notice.
Ability to travel.
