The process to file your application requires you to:
1- Submit your résumé and make sure to mention all relevant information associated with the position's requirements to show that you are the ideal candidate.
2- Every two weeks following the opening date of the poster, only the applicants who have answered “yes” to all essential education and experience and provided the necessary information in their application will receive a document asking for additional information as well as the written exam.

The intent is to create an inventory that may be used to staff various permanent administrative and client service positions at the AS-01, CR-05 and PM-01 levels for various locations across Canada. It may also be used to staff similar positions with various tenures, various language requirements, and various security requirements within the Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.

EXPERIENCE:
EX1 - Experience using the Microsoft Office package (at least one of the following: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) or similar software.
EX2 - Experience in providing services to clients or customers.

EXPERIENCE (ASSET):
AE1 - Experience in providing administrative services to senior officials such as: management of agenda, meeting calendar, scheduling, organizing logistics for conferences or meetings, travel arrangements and claims, preparation of minutes and follow-up.
AE2 - Experience working with financial information or financial documents, such as: budget tracking and forecasting, acquisition card reconciliation or managing petty cash.
AE3 - Experience using a financial system, such as: SAP (Systems, Applications and Products), IFMS (Integrated Financial and Material System) or a similar financial system.
AE4 - Experience using records information systems, such as: Records, Document and Information Management System (RDIMS), SharePoint, Information Management (IM) tools, GCDocs or a similar system.
AE5 - Experience using a process mapping software such as MS Visio.
AE6 - Experience in providing general administration such as extracting, drafting, editing or reviewing correspondence or reports, project coordination or management, coordinating events, such as: conferences, meetings or training and / or mailroom operations including processing incoming and outgoing mail, inter-office and messenger services.
AE7 - Experience working as part of a collaborative team.
AE8 - Experience in conducting research, explaining, clarifying and providing guidance to the general public.
AE9 - Experience with a multi-line phone in a fast paced, high profile office.
AE10 - Experience in human resources support activities.
AE11 - Experience in legal services support activities including, but not limited to, organizing a large volume of documents and materials.
AE12 - Experience working in a call center.
