A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established to staff similar or identical positions at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) or Indigenous Services Canada (ISC). These positions could be located in various locations with various linguistic profiles (English essential, Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC) and/or requirements as well as tenures (term, indeterminate, assignment, secondment, acting and deployment) and/or the security clearance (reliability or secret), which may vary according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university or an acceptable combination of education, training or experience. An acceptable combination of education, training or experience would be a secondary school diploma with five (5) years of program management experience or a college diploma with three (3) years of program management experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in building effective relationships with stakeholders, such as First Nations, federal departments, territorial governments, media or private sector.
Experience in providing strategic advice to senior management on program issues.
Experience in managing financial and human resources.
Experience in developing or implementing strategic engagement or communications plans.

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of legislation pertaining to consultation requirements of Federal Government.
Knowledge of key Aboriginal issues in the north.
Knowledge of strategic engagement or consultation practices as they relate to meaningful public and aboriginal involvement.
