The Department of National Defence (DND) is one of the largest federal government employers. DND's role is to provide services and support to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in their operations and missions at home and abroad. As a civilian employee, you will be an essential part of the Defence Team. As a Public Servant working at the Canadian Forces Base Edmonton, you will have access to free fitness facilities and free parking.
The intent of this process is to staff one indeterminate position in Edmonton, Alberta. A pool of qualified candidates may be created and may be used to staff similar positions at the same or equivalent group and levels with various tenures and security profiles.

Graduation with a diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in Real Estate, Law, or another specialty relevant to the position.
EX01: Recent* and significant** experience in providing analysis, advice and recommendations to senior management on ongoing or emerging administrative issues in the areas of real property and accommodations.
EX02: Recent* and significant** experience in managing contract agreements such as leases, land use agreements, and provision of services.
EX03: Experience in representing the organisation on intra or inter-departmental committees or working group.
EX04: Experience in consulting and liaising with internal and external stakeholders (such as federal government organizations, provincial or territorial governments, researchers/experts, international organizations or non-governmental organizations).
EX05: Recent* and significant** experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, project teams, or working groups.
* Recent is defined as experience obtained in the last five (5) years.
** Significant is defined as experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities on a regular basis, for the experience factor in question, which could normally be acquired over a period of approximately two (2) years.
AED01: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in Real Estate, Law, or another specialty relevant to the position.
AEX01: Experience in the areas of real property, procurement and asset management.
AEX02: Recent* experience in conducting research analysis as well as writing reports and/or briefing notes for senior management.
AEX03: Recent* and significant** experience in managing or delivering real property portfolio management, or real property project management, or accommodation management, within a government context.
AEX04: Experience managing access for the oil & gas industry.
AEX05: Experience with aboriginal consultation.
