The Department of National Defence (DND) is one of the largest federal government employers. DND's role is to provide services and support to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in their operations and missions at home and abroad. As a civilian employee, you will be an essential part of the Defence Team.
The intent of this process is to staff one indeterminate position in Cold Lake, Alberta. A pool of qualified candidates may be created and may be used to staff similar positions at the same or equivalent group and levels with various tenures and security profiles.

EX01: Experience in supervision and management in a multi-trade environment
EX02: Experience in performing mechanical and maintenance related tasks.
EX03: Experience in preventative maintenance systems and life cycle management.
EX04: Experience in the application of Canadian construction standards, codes and/or regulations.
EX05: Experience in contracting and/or procurement
EX06: Experience managing multi-disciplined projects
AED01: Possession of a diploma as an Engineering Technologist; OR a University degree in Engineering.
Possession of a FMA designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
Possession of a MMP or CAMP designation from the Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association.
AEX01: Experience using SAP based software
AEX02: Experience in or training on Microsoft Suite, CAD, or GIS programming

Information on language requirements
Possession of a valid Inter-provincial Journeyman Certification in a construction trade: OR Certification as a Technologist / Technician in any commercial mechanical related field OR Military 6B Construction Engineering Superintendent Qualified.
