In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.

**Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

• Experience in analyzing current and emerging issues and developing strategic policy options and recommendations.
• Experience in leading and conducting analyses of Government policies or programs and their implications for departments, provinces/territories, or with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in leading horizontal initiatives, working groups or committees or secretariats.
• Experience in providing both verbal and written advice and recommendations to senior executives on complex policy issues.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in public administration or business administration.

Degree equivalency

Experience with big data, geo-analytics, open data, or earth observations.

Recent* experience in developing Treasury Board (TB) Submissions and / or Memoranda to Cabinet (MCs).
(*Recent experience is defined as performing the task within the last 2 years.)

Experience in planning policy projects including document or program approvals processes.

Experience in developing and implementing stakeholder engagement plans for a program or service.

Experience in the analysis of human factors.

Knowledge of the Canadian Geomatics and Earth Observation stakeholders in the public, private, and academic sectors.
