Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) has an interesting and unique mandate by playing a role in supporting services and programs in communities such as health, education, economic development, housing, community infrastructure and social support. In the context of reconciliation, ISC supports Aboriginal peoples (First Nations, Inuit and Métis) in their efforts to improve social wellbeing and economic prosperity to the benefit of all Canadians.
**Percy E. Moore Hospital serves the immediate area of Hodgson, Manitoba including the residents of Peguis, Fisher River and Kinonjeoshtegon First Nations as well as the Rural Municipality of Fisher. Hodgson is located in the Manitoba Interlake approximately 2 hours north of Winnipeg and is accessible by paved road.
The intent is to staff this position via the Aboriginal Peoples Employment Program, which aims to strategically increase Aboriginal representation within the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch. As such, Organizational Needs may be applied and first consideration may be given to candidates self-identifying as belonging to Aboriginal peoples.

Education:
Successful completion of secondary school, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
Recent* and significant** experience monitoring budgets and financial reports
Recent* and significant** experience interpreting and applying financial policies, procedures or directives
Experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable
Experience using an electronic financial system to input information and generate reports
Experience using word processing and spreadsheet software to prepare documents
Experience working effectively with First Nations, Inuit or Metis
*Recent is defined as within the last 3 years
**Significant is defined as a minimum of one year experience
