The Department of National Defence (DND) is one of the largest federal government employers. DND's role is to provide services and support to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in their operations and missions at home and abroad. As a civilian employee, you will be an essential part of the Defence Team. As a Public Servant working at the Canadian Forces Base Edmonton, you will have access to free fitness facilities and free parking.
The intent of this process is to staff one indeterminate position in Edmonton, Alberta. A pool of qualified candidates may be created and may be used to staff similar positions at the same or equivalent group and levels with various tenures and security profiles.

Your résumé.
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in Library Science, Information Management, Archival Studies, or another specialty relevant to the position.
EX01: Recent* experience maintaining an information management system or module(s) of an integrated library system or website.
EX02: Recent* experience working in an Information Management support capacity including research, analysis and life cycle information management.
EX03: Recent* experience in assessing client requirements and proposing and / or creating information management or records management solutions.
EX04: Recent* experience in the application of information management trends, concepts and theories.
EX05: Recent* experience delivering client service to employees in an Information Management environment including but not limited to providing guidance and advice on the interpretation or related policies and procedures.
EX06: Recent* experience in developing operational policies or procedures of guidelines
* Recent is defined as experience obtained in the last three (3) years.
AEX01: Recent* experience working with SharePoint Designer.
AEX02: Experience providing verbal and/or written briefings to management.
AEX03: Experience in revising and / or implementing new business processes.
AEX04: Experience working in a central records office organizing files in accordance with an established file management system.
