We’re looking for talented individuals with experience in the iCase system and with experience in being a Litigation Coordinator.

The initial intent of this process is to offer two opportunities.
A pool of qualified persons resulting from this process may be created and may be used to fill similar positions with linguistic profiles english essential, and bilingual imperative BBB/BBB as well as tenures indeterminate, deployment, acting, assignment, secondment, specified period which may vary according to the position being staffed.

-Experience in liaising with courts and/or tribunals in relation to the scheduling of hearings;
-Experience providing advice to senior management.
Knowledge:
Stream 1: iCase Coordinator:
-Knowledge of the roles, relationships and organization of the Legal Services Unit both within the Treasury Board Secretariat and the Department of Justice;
-Knowledge of the iCase system as it relates to timekeeping and cost recovery.
Knowledge:
Stream 2: Litigation Schedule Coordinator:
-Knowledge of legal concepts including legislative and litigation processes to prioritize and assist in the planning of the hearing schedule.
Abilities:
-Ability to manage workload in order to meet tight deadlines;
-Ability to proofread and correct documents/correspondence for grammar, spelling, and/or related errors;
