PSPC helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. With a strong focus on quality customer service, we provide innovative common services such as real estate and building management, purchasing, banking, pay and pensions, and translation to other government departments, agencies and boards. By providing these centralized services to departments and agencies, we enable them to focus on what they do best: providing their programs and services to Canadians.
This inventory may be used to establish pools of partially or fully qualified candidates which may be used to staff positions within Real Property Branch.
The pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions on a permanent or temporary basis with various linguistic profiles and/or requirements (French Essential, Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB) and various security requirements (Reliability or Secret).

EDUCATION
Secondary school diploma
EXPERIENCE
Recent and significant experience (Note 1) acquired in building management (** leased office buildings, or commercial, government or institutional buildings) in at least three of the following areas:
1. Management of small real property projects (office renovations, layouts) for building types **
2. Client service for tenants in building types **
3. Building operation and maintenance **
4. Awarding, monitoring or managing contracts entered into with contractors
5. Management of office building leases **
Note 1: “Recent and significant experience” means approximately two years in the course of the past three years, working with office buildings or commercial, government or institutional buildings (experience acquired in the residential or sales fields does NOT count. However, experience acquired in managing a major condominium portfolio may be considered.)

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
College diploma in architecture or building mechanics or an acceptable combination of education, experience and training in a field related to the duties of the position.
Recent and significant experience (Note 1) in building management (** leased office buildings, or commercial, government or institutional buildings). This could include:
1. Experience in the design, execution and/or management of construction projects in a building;
2. Experience in coordination related to building management activities; and
3. Experience in setting and monitoring building operation and maintenance budgets.
Note 1: “Recent and significant experience” means approximately two years in the course of the past three years, working with office buildings or commercial, government or institutional buildings (experience acquired in the residential or sales fields does NOT count. However, experience acquired in managing a major condominium portfolio may be considered.)
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Be willing and able to travel occasionally
Be willing and able to work overtime occasionally and on short notice
Valid driver’s license
Reliability Status security clearance
