Assessment accommodation

A pool of qualified candidates will be created and used to fill identical or similar positions. These positions may be staffed permanently or temporarily. Should the selected candidate already be a public servant, the pool could also be used for acting appointments.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Completion of a minimum 2 year diploma or degree from an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

Degree equivalency

Certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

Experience using Microsoft's Active Directory.

Experience using call tracking software.

Experience in configuring smartphones.

Experience in using inventory and asset management software.

Experience working in a Thin Client environment using Citrix technology.

Experience using a problem/ticket management system.

Be able and willing to work occasionally outside normal working hours and weekends. The job requires transporting, lifting and setting down equipment that can weigh up to 20kg. The job requires working under the following conditions: bending down, being hunched over and stretching below desks to reach the equipment. Be able and willing to travel within the Prairie and Northern Region as part of his/her duties.
