Duties

As a Product Officer, you will be responsible for:
• Providing client service by guiding departments and agencies who are having problems issuing payments;
• Review and deal with system generated error reports and assign complex issues to Senior Product Officers;
• Explaining procedures and systems operations to client departments and agencies;
• Collaborate with a Senior Product Officer to perform clients’ requirements analysis;
• Creating test plans and performing end to end testing with clients to ensure all systems are performing according to specifications;
• Participating in projects, working groups and team meetings to provide input to the improvement of service delivery to clients;
• Maintain procedures, contact lists and ensure posted information is up to date and relevant.

As a Payment Policy Officer, you will be responsible for:
• Coordinating the schedule 1 delegations of authorities at the branch level, liaising with sector representatives and corporate services; ensuring the daily approval and submission of schedule 1 requests in the system, and providing client service by managing the generic mailbox and guiding sectors who are having problems with the system
• Leading the schedule 4 delegation process: managing form changes in conjunction with sectors and Finance Branch; tracking and maintaining records for the branch.
• Acting as back-up to the branch business continuity coordinator
• Coordinating and drafting communications on behalf of the directorate
• Preparing responses (usually requiring gathering and manipulation of data in an excel format) to ATIP requests
• Maintaining procedures and contact lists, and ensuring posted information is up to date and relevant

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
• Playing an active role in supporting the resolution of operational incidents.
• Providing advice and information for the change management process; reviewing client and business requirements and participating in the analysis of changes.
• Planning, organizing and conducting pre-operational analysis.
• Participating in the developing, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures.
• Participating in projects, working groups and team meetings to provide input, contributing to the improvement of service delivery to clients.

As a Testing Officer, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting in the development of testing frameworks; assisting in the development of testing documentation.
• Providing advice and information for the change management process; reviewing business requirements and participating in the analysis of changes for the purpose of developing test cases.
• Implementing testing strategies, methodologies, and procedures to provide testing services for government-wide payment systems.
• Investigating problems and issues found during testing operations and to document lessons learned to improve existing test streams and test cases.
• Developing various specialized reports, work plans and statistical data for management.
