If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.
When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
*** ONLY ONLINE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ***
All job applications must therefore be submitted through the jobs.gc.ca site.
To submit an application online, please select the button "Apply Online" below.
Persons who cannot apply online or persons with disabilities preventing them from applying online are asked to inform the contact persons responsible for this process and to contact 1-800-645-5605 prior to the closing date.
Candidates must clearly demonstrate in the screening questionnaire how they meet the education and experience criteria listed in the Essential Qualifications and Asset Qualifications if applicable. Please note that stating that the requirement has been met, and/or listing past or current responsibilities, does not represent adequate substantiation. Rather, you must provide concrete examples that clearly illustrate how you meet the requirement. Résumés may be used as a secondary source to validate the qualifications described; comments such as "refer to my attached résumé" will not be accepted and may result in your application being rejected.

What makes an inventory different from other job advertisements? You only need to apply once to be considered for multiple job opportunities at the CS-02/CP-02 group and level within the RCMP for Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) program.
Don't worry, even if your application is not selected for one job, your application remains in the inventory and can be selected again for the entire duration that the inventory remains open. Additionally, you can go back and update your résumé or responses to the screening questions at any time.
Our inventory process is open-ended: based on your interest and experience, we will guide you to the team that matches your qualifications and skills.
Random selection may be used at any time during the process to identify which applicants from the inventory will be assessed.
Re-evaluation period: If candidates are eliminated during the screening stage based on education and experience, there will be a six (6) month waiting period. After this period, candidates may resubmit their application with more recent and/or additional detailed information in order to be reconsidered.
**Multiple batches of applications will be retrieved throughout the duration of this inventory.
