Intent of the process

The intent of this selection process is to staff two term positions. A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions within Elections Canada with various tenures (indeterminate or varying specified periods).

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination* of education, training and/or experience.

*Note : In conjunction with this present selection process, the acceptable combination is defined as follow : Successful completion of three years of secondary school along with three (3) years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.

Degree equivalency

Experience in supervision.

*Recent and **significant experience using a motorized material-handling equipment including forklift, narrow aisle truck and a walkie pallet truck.

Experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience providing client service.

*Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the last 5 years.

** Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of the experience normally acquired over a minimum period of 2 years.

Consent to observe strict political impartiality and neutrality for the duration of employment.

Willingness and ability to lift loads up to 22.5 kg (50 pounds) in accordance with safe work practices.

Valid Forklift Operation Certification.
