Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) has an interesting and unique mandate by playing a role in supporting services and programs in communities such as health, education, economic development, housing, community infrastructure and social support. In the context of reconciliation, ISC supports Aboriginal peoples (First Nations, Inuit and Métis) in their efforts to improve social well-being and economic prosperity to the benefit of all Canadians.
**Percy E. Moore Hospital serves the immediate area of Hodgson, Manitoba including the residents of Peguis, Fisher River and Kinonjeoshtegon First Nations as well as the Rural Municipality of Fisher. Hodgson is located in the Manitoba Interlake approximately 2 hours north of Winnipeg and is accessible by paved road.
The intent is to staff this position via the Aboriginal Peoples Employment Program, which aims to strategically increase Aboriginal representation within the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch. As such, Organizational Needs may be applied and first consideration may be given to candidates self-identifying as belonging to Aboriginal peoples.

Experience providing reception services.
Experience in providing clerical administration support in the form of general office procedures, such as data entry, filing and sorting documents, maintaining electronic and paper files and operating office equipment.
Experience operating a switchboard.
Experience using an electronic mail system such as Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc.
Experience using Microsoft Access database software.
Experience using Adobe Acrobat applications software.
Experience creating Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Experience creating and using formulas in Microsoft Excel.
Experience entering data into a computerized system.
Experience working with First Nations, Inuit, or Metis.
ASSET EXPERIENCE: KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of medical terminology.
