DDRMIS manages the Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS), an application used for financial records, materiel acquisition, workforce management, and weapons and vehicle life cycle management. DDRMIS implements new functionality for the application in accordance with its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) roadmap and strategy.
This is an inventory of potential candidates to fill upcoming employment opportunities for SAP Specialist positions at the CS-03 level. These employment opportunities will be based on highly anticipated needs within the Department of National Defence. This inventory may be used to establish pools of qualified candidates which may be used by DND to staff the following CS03 positions:
Stream 1: Functional Analyst
Stream 2: Testing Specialist
Stream 3: Project Manager
Stream 4: Business Analyst
Stream 5: Solution Architect

Education:
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
Notes:
1. Indeterminate period incumbents of positions in the CS group on May 10, 1999, who do not possess the education prescribed above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standards based on their education, training and/or experience. They must be accepted as having met the minimum education standard whenever this standard is called for when staffing positions in the CS group.
2. It is the recognized educational institution (e.g. community college, CÉGEP or university) that determines if the courses taken by a candidate correspond to two years of a post-secondary program at the institution.
3. At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may serve as an alternative to the minimum post-secondary education stated above. Whenever the minimum education is met using this alternative, it is met for the specific position only and must be re-assessed for other positions for which this alternative has been specified by the manager.
Experience:
STREAM 1: Functional Analyst
*Extensive and **recent experience in system support and maintenance including functional configuration and testing in a large SAP environment/ SAP project. This experience includes the impact assessment on the integration points in at least one other ***SAP module
STREAM 2: Testing Specialist
*Extensive and **recent experience in testing as well as using and configuring test automation tools in an SAP environment
STREAM 3: Project Manager
*Extensive and **recent experience working on IT projects as a Project Manager
STREAM 4: Business Analyst
*Extensive and **recent experience in coordinating and gathering system requirements, managing change requests and coordinating system releases
STREAM 5: Solution Architect
*Extensive and **recent experience as a functional analyst in MORE than 1 SAP module. This experience includes the impact assessment on the integration points between SAP modules and Options Analysis on solutions
Extensive* is defined as depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of those duties for a period of approximately three (3) years.
Recent** is defined as experience normally acquired within the last five (5) years.
***SAP Application modules include but are not limited to MM, PM, FI, FM, CO, PS, WFM, RE, EH&S, Solution Manager.

AE1: Experience working on a mission critical large-scale 24/7 enterprise application.
