Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates resulting from this process may be established to staff similar positions with various security requirements, conditions of employment and tenures at full-time or part-time hours.

The position may be relocated to the location of the successful candidate's residence if it is in a Saskatchewan community that has an RCMP Detachment.

Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (typically completion of grade 12); a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

Experience providing advice and guidance to clients.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience or training in facilitating courses

Experience working in a policing environment

Conditions of employment

Security Clearance: Royal Canadian Mounted Police Reliability Status

Extensive* travel is required. The candidate must be willing and able to travel by various modes of transportation (including commercial and light aircraft) up to and including remote locations.
*Extensive is defined as approximately travelling 50% of the time

Overtime is required on a regular basis. The candidate must be willing and able to work overtime.

Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license or the personal mobility to the extent normally associated with the possession of a valid class 5 driver's license.

Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
