A covering letter in 9,999 words (maximum) "Persons interested must submit, by the closing date, a complete application consisting of a covering letter AND a résumé supporting the information provided in the cover letter. Education:
EED 1 Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution in a natural, physical or applied science with specialization in biochemistry, nutritional sciences or related field.
Experience:
EEX 1 Significant working experience in analytical chemistry using liquid chromatography and mass spectroscopy.
EEX 2 Experience in developing, adapting or validating new testing methodologies.
EEX 3 Experience in planning and managing in vivo studies and projects.
EEX 4 Experience in molecular methodology including cell culture, tissue DNA/RNA isolation, RT-PCR, or epigenetic mechanisms.
EEX5 Experience in using statistical, graphics and word processing software.
*For the purpose of this process, significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience that would normally be acquired over a period of three (3) years or more.

AK2 Knowledge of the principles of sample procurement for biochemical analysis.
AK3 Knowledge of the principles and practice of ethics in research.

AA1 Ability to manage activities and budget requirements for laboratory work.
AA2 Ability to manage datasets and analyse data using graphics and statistical programs.
