Administrative Assistants/Clerks with the Department of National Defence perform a variety of duties which may include: reception; records management; data entry and retrieval; document creation, processing or tracking; coordinating or supporting meetings or events; and use and maintenance of office equipment and supplies. The specific duties vary across positions/organizations as does the scope of responsibilities assigned. This work may be performed within a range of organizations/work environments such as office, warehouse or maintenance facility work settings. The work may require lifting and carrying of heavy items or boxes or reaching for folders or items from a range of high to low shelving/storage areas.
CFB Moose Jaw is home to the 431 Squadron, aka the Snowbirds, Canada's military aerobatic air show flight demonstration team. CFB Moose Jaw is located 7 km south of the city of Moose Jaw, SK which is located 77 km west of Regina, SK. The city of Moose Jaw is the fourth largest city in Saskatchewan with a population of 33,890 (2016). Bus service is only available within the city of Moose Jaw and there is no public transportation to the base. Experience providing administrative support services
