This advertised process is ANTICIPATORY and a pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established to staff similar or identical positions at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) and Indigenous Service Canada in Gatineau, Ottawa and Winnipeg, with various linguistic profiles (French essential, English essential, BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC) as well as tenures (Acting, Assignment, Deployment, Indeterminate, Secondment, Specified period) which may vary according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see note).
NOTE:
The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are: a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in the interpretation and application of directives and policies.
Experience providing administrative support services.
Experience providing guidance to staff or management.
Experience using software such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook.
Various language requirements
The majority of positions to be staffed are bilingual BBB/BBB. However, the process could be used to staff positions with various linguistic profiles and requirements.

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of administrative procedures and standards.
Knowledge of Federal government guidelines for handling and storing classified and sensitive information.
Knowledge of the Financial Administrative Act (FAA), Section 32, 33 and 34.
ABILITIES:
Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure.
Ability to provide guidance.
Ability to communicate effectively orally.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:
Experience using Financial systems such as: SAP or SFT.
Experience working in a Business Management Unit (BMU).
