The intent of this process is to staff various Director positions.
A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff similar positions. All federal organizations listed in the Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) may use this selection process to staff a similar position in their organization.

Acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in managing human resources (this may include supervising staff, establishing vision, priorities, work plans or establishing work objectives, conducting performance assessments and feedback, approving training, demonstration of experience in managing various service delivery and resource allocation frameworks, etc. Applicants must also indicate the number of staff they have supervised).
Experience in managing financial resources (this may include delegation for a budget, being responsible for financial planning, forecasting and reporting. Applicants should also indicate the size of the budget they managed directly).
Significant* experience in networking and consulting with various stakeholders. (Stakeholders may include other government partners, Indigenous organizations, private organizations/associations, etc).
*Significant is understood to mean the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed broad range of various complex related activities for a minimum of two (2) years.
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program and two years of working experience with federal, provincial or Indigenous governments/organizations.
Experience in providing strategic advice and support to senior management, clients and partners.
Experience in managing programs, services or initiatives related to the advancement of Indigenous communities.
