Intent of the process

Immediate need: Three (3) positions to be staffed on an indeterminate basis.

A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates resulting from this process may be established and used to fill similar positions with various requirements and linguistic profiles and various tenures at Global Affairs Canada.

Education:

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

Significant* experience in warehousing or a distribution type environment;

Significant* experience in logistics** (See explanatory note);

Significant* experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook);

Experience using an automated inventory control system.

* “Significant” experience is defined as experience gained over a period of more than 12 months.

** Explanatory note – “Logistics” is defined as:

Receipt of goods, packing of goods, distribution of goods, warehousing service as well as the management of inventories and the disposal of goods
